Project Description

Engaged to provide Specialist Engineering (Solar / Cluster design) as well as Technical oversight of the appointed Engineering Consultancy (DC and AC systems). The overall goal of the project was to ensure best practice in Engineering and reduce risk in the contracted energy Performance Guarantee.

This involved yield optimisation through technology and design application, equipment optimisation through detailed engineering, constructability solutions and risk reduction of the contracted energy Performance Guarantees.

Key Achievements

Identified and implemented key areas in MPPT optimisation that resulted in equipment reduction and yield increase. Identified and corrected a key flaw in the energy guarantee.
